CueBeat brings AI-guided Pilates, structured instructor-style cues, and brain-state-synced music into physical education - giving schools a structured movement program that students actually want to attend.
A staff-supervised Pilates pilot for students age 13 and up · Instructor-supported, not instructor-replacing
Schools are falling behind.
Only 24% of adolescents meet the recommended 60 minutes of daily physical activity. Traditional PE programs - built around team sports and fitness testing - often fail students who don't identify as athletes, particularly girls and students with anxiety.
Pilates is quiet, personal, and non-competitive. It supports body awareness, breath regulation, and postural strength as part of a wellness curriculum — not a medical intervention.
CueBeat supports the qualified supervising staff member running the session by planning the sequence, speaking the cues, and capturing aggregate progress data for instructor review. It does not replace qualified instruction, staff judgment, or your school's safety requirements.
Your PE teacher or wellness instructor sets the class parameters. CueBeat generates a structured 50-minute Pilates sequence — exercises, spoken cues, and music — for the supervising staff member to run.
Students open the class on any device. CueBeat's calm voice speaks each cue while the supervising adult watches the room. The optional Form Mirror uses on-device pose landmarks — no camera video is uploaded or stored.
Instructor accounts show session attendance, per-cue scores, and optional alignment deltas. These are wellness/educational metrics — not medical or diagnostic — and are labeled as such in every view.
During applicable Form Mirror sessions, CueBeat captures aggregate observable-form measurements for the selected pseudonymous Student Demonstrator — so a pilot ends with a baseline vs final comparison, not impressions.
Paired full-session observable-form measurements for the same pseudonymous rotating cohort. Wellness guidance, not a medical measurement.
Rotating cohort of 6 demonstrators. One shared laptop runs class; one selected student at a time uses the camera.
"A systematic review of 9 studies, predominantly in adolescents, found strong evidence that Pilates training improves muscle strength, control, and posture."
"A randomized controlled trial of 96 school-aged children found Pilates combined with conventional exercise improved balance and gait."
"A 12-week randomized controlled trial of 362 adolescents found core strength training plus goal-setting significantly improved sprint speed, grip strength, endurance running, core endurance, and students' sense of behavioral control."
"In a randomized clinical trial of teens aged 14-17, adding Pilates to standard therapy significantly reduced pain and increased muscle strength, functional status, and quality of life."
Research shown reflects published studies on Pilates and core training in youth populations, not CueBeat outcome data. CueBeat pilot results will be measured and reported per school.

School pilots are staff-supervised at all times. CueBeat supports instructors — it does not replace them. CueBeat is a wellness and educational tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace a qualified instructor or clinician.
The rapid school pilot is for students age 13 and older with adult/staff supervision at all times. Under-13 use is out of scope for this release and requires a separate reviewed process.
We do not sell student data, use it for targeted advertising, or use identifiable student data to train general-purpose AI models.
Camera frames used for optional pose landmarks are processed on the student's device. Raw camera video and photos are not intentionally recorded or retained by CueBeat.
School-pilot records use pseudonymous labels (for example, "Student A") wherever a real name is not required. We do not ask for date of birth, home address, personal phone number, government identifier, precise location, or medical diagnosis.
The optional posture/alignment check is clearly optional, off by default in pilots, separately explained and authorized, and always skippable. A skipped or failed alignment check never blocks a class.
School-pilot student data is targeted for deletion or de-identification within 30 days after pilot end, or earlier on verified school request — subject to narrow legal-hold and back-up-rotation exceptions.
We do not claim FERPA or COPPA certification, blanket legal compliance, medical accuracy, or that CueBeat is a substitute for a qualified instructor. These commitments describe our pilot posture and are open to school review.
Before a CueBeat pilot begins, we ask school partners to confirm the following. This is a discussion posture, not a certification.
